This spring marks the 10th anniversary of EASY ACTION’s comeback show at the Sweden Rock Festival in 2006. The Swedish glam pioneers ZINNY ZAN (Shotgun Messiah, Zan Clan) and KEE MARCELLO (Europe, K2) had not played together for over 20 years, and the show was meant to be a one time thing.
Zinny Zan: ”.. but with the new members SIMON ROXX (Ammotrack, Volume Unit), BJÖRN ”Grizzly” HÖGLUND (The Summit, Martina Edoff) and MICHAEL GRIMM (Supergroupies) we had so much fun, and sounded so good … that we decided to have a go at it.”
The following years the band played several club dates and festivals, and supported TWISTED SISTER for a handful of Scandinavian dates. In 2008 the band released a new version of ”We Go Rocking”, and the new song ”Jack’s Back”. In 2009 the band had written enough material for a new album, and the basic tracks were laid down in September 2009. In 2011 the new album entitled ”Looking Up Your Old Address” was still not finished.
Björn ”Grizzly” Höglund: ”That’s when we lost Michael due to complications with his diabetes, and... well that’s where we left it. The album is still on the shelves.”
In January of 2016 the band retrieved a hard drive consisting of multi angle pro shot video footage of the 2006 show at the Sweden Rock Festival.
Björn ”Grizzly” Höglund: ”I started going through the footage and the energy of that show just hit me! We had something special in that line-up. Seeing Michael on that stage playing with his childhood favorite band, and all the fun we had, was moving to say the least .. But there was almost no audio recorded at the Sweden Rock show, so we decided do go back to the album we never finished. The song ”Drop The Bomb” was close enough to completion so we decided to use that.”
Ironically that song was written back in 1984 and intended for Easy Action’s sophomore album.
Zinny Zan: ”We wanted to close the book by at least releasing something from the would be album. If not for all the people who asked about the band .. then for Michael. Though I am sure that many of the songs we wrote will surface some way or another pretty soon.

Swedish 70’s Prog Rock kings ASTRAKHAN will return to the scene with their brand new album “Adrenaline Kiss” on June 3rd, 2016! The CD is scheduled for a release via DEAD END EXIT RECORDS/ Sound Pollution.

Sunstrike was formed by guitarist Joachim Nordlund and drummer Johan Lindstedt together with singer Christian Eriksson (Twilight Force, The Theander Expression) in late 2012. Joachim and Johan also are members of Swedish metal act Astral Doors. Right from the start the three guys had a very clear image of how the music should sound like: pure melodic hard rock was on the agenda! Fredrik Plahn (Prey), Mats Gesar (Thalamus) and bass player Björn Lundqvist (Twilight Force) soon completed the band.
Two demo songs were posted on the band’s Facebook page in summer of 2013, and immediately the word was out about this new melodic rock outfit from Sweden. The song-writing/recording continued through 2013 in Joachim’s Big Turn Studio until they had 12 songs that were strong enough for the album ”Rock your World” which was released in 2014 on AOR Heaven.
Now, SunStrike is back! After the release of their critically acclaimed debut album, Johan Lindstedt and Joachim Nordlund soon started working on new songs for an upcoming album. They once again teamed up with Christian Eriksson, Fredrik Plahn and Mats Gesar and started the recordings of what was to become album no. 2, “Ready II Strike”, in Joachims Big Turn Studio in the fall of 2015. Bass player Bjorn didn't find the time to lay down his tracks for this album, so Joachim took care of the bass lines. To make the choirs as big and fat as possible two friends of the band, Danne Andersson and Annsofie Lindström, joined them in the studio for a couple of days and nailed down some cool harmonies.
Being very pleased with Erik Mårtensson’s work with the mixing/mastering of the first album, the choice was pretty easy this time around. The cover art and booklet design was done again by Carl-André Beckston (Monowasp).

The Dues is a heavy bluesrock-trio from Winterthur Switzerland, formed in 2011. It was clear from the outset, that is has to be a three-piece group, inspired by the great power-trios from the late 60's and early 70's. After a few months jamming and rehearsing in their basement, they had their first live shows in 2012. Soon the band has built up a reputation as a thrilling live act and gets more and more attention in the booming local rock scene.
In 2013 they released their first EP „Pay Your Dues“. Also they get the chance to support some of their idols, like Radio Moscow, Earthless and the swedish rock and soul group Dollhouse.
Also they played together with The Black Explosion. The new project from Dollhouse frontman Chris Winter. Chris liked what he had heard and told that he would like to produce an album with them. So it happened that in May 2015, The Dues went to Enköping Sweden, to do the recordings of their debut album "Thief Of Time". 2015 seemed to be a really successful year as they also get the opportunity to touring trough the Ukraine and Poland.
Full of energy and with the spirit of the good old times, The Dues want to hit the road and play shows as many as possible. Spread their powerful and energetic sound all around the world!
