PRIDE & JOY MUSIC is proud to announce the signing of the VIVALDI METAL PROJECT!
The VIVALDI METAL PROJECT is an all-star metal project conceived and created by keyboardist, arranger, composer and producer maestro Mistheria (Bruce Dickinson, Rob Rock, Roy Z, etc.) together with bassist, composer and co-producer Alberto Rigoni.
The aim of the project is to arrange and perform a metal version of Antonio Vivaldi's legendary Baroque masterwork “THE FOUR SEASONS”.

The duo already has started to work on this project in late 2013 together with a staff of arrangers (D. Docker main lyricist as well, F. Dall'O', F. Caruso, F. Lui, Gabriels, K. Kumagai, M. Mierzejewski, N. Waldo, P. Penksa, T. Varnagiris, Y. Androulakakis, Z. Koev) and since then gathered more than 70 musicians from over the world plus the ''Sinfonietta Consonus Orchestra'' and the ''Academic Choir Manolov' to take part in this mammoth project.
The recordings will soon be completed and the release is planned for late May 2016. More news on this will follow.

Mistheria says: “It has been a big challenge for the project creators and for all the participants to re-arrange and to perform this classic masterpiece beloved by millions people all over the globe in the vein of metal music power. It took about 1.5 years to form a cast of top rock and metal singers and instrumentalists. And finally recordings now have been almost completed after a full year of working on arrangements by a strong international arrangers’ team from several countries.”

Lugnet is a Swedish band with the tough, gritty sounds of '70s hard rock that features well rounded musicians with touring and recording experience.
The guitar driven attack from Mackan and Bonden delivers crushing riffs and classic rock melodies, that rides on the steady and driving rhythm section of extraordinary bass player Z and drummer Jansson (ex. Witchcraft). The lead singer Roger (Ken Hensley) fronts Lugnet with a on-stage swagger, passion & voice reminiscent of the late Ray Gillen (Badlands).
Lugnet launched "All The Way" a strictly limited edition cd single (cover art by Vance Kelly) along with an exclusive grindhouse music video featuring Quentin Tarantino´s favorite Swedish actress Christina Lindberg (Thriller: They Call Her One Eye) in the lead role. The video was number one on the music video chart "musikvideotoppen.se".
They also launched an exclusive limited edition "All The Way" four-track vinyl Ep with cover art by Vance Kelly. The track was frequently played in national radio P3 Rock.
In autumn 2015 a new video will be released and again with Christina Lindberg in the lead role before the self-titled debut album will be released by German label Pride & Joy Music on January 15th, 2016 on CD and on vinyl via Edel. “Lugnet” was produced in various studios in Sweden by Lugnet, mixed by Lars Chriss (Lion’s Share) and mastered by Micke Lind at Masterplant, Stockholm.
The band name Lugnet means tranquility (the calm) in Swedish and is also the name of the area where the band rehearses their music. But make no mistake this band is out to kill...

Wigelius was formed in late 2011 by Anders Wigelius, after doing a Swedish tv show that gained him a record deal with Frontiers Records. The idea at the time was to deliver 80's rock with a modern twist. What it became was a heartfelt brotherhood of people that really love good music. It was all about the love for the music and having fun.
When Reinventions was released in 2012, it got immediate attention from the AOR-scene and the expectations on the sophomore release have been very high. To really get the right sound this time around, the band decided to trust the production in the talented hands of their own Erik Wigelius. This also made the process of making the album very creative, with everybody working together on the songs in the studio. Letting all voices be heard, maximizing the potential in each song.
Erik and his brother Anders are also responsible for the production of Care of Night's debut album Connected and has produced many artists and bands all over the world.
Tabula Rasa is latin for "Blank slate" and as a title for this album it couldn't be more fitting. The idea is to show the world how Wigelius really sound, by keeping everything that was great about the first album, and the genre, but taking it one step further.
With Patrik joining, it gave an extra shot in the arm for the band, and finally it feels like all the pieces are together. It's a very diverse album, ranging between influences collected over many years. There are a lot of flavours to be heard in the songs, making the album hard to place in a single genre.
Wigelius is the love child of it's members, and they promise a great future with more releases in the years to come.

Grand Slam was founded in 2007 in Malmö, Sweden, by drummer Andy Swaniz (ex-Quadruple), with the aim to appeal to a wide audience with their melodic rock style.
Bassist Henrik Hansson (ex-Hollywood) got on board the same year and songwriter Peter Alpenborg was brought in to get the ball rolling. There have been several lineup changes over the years, as well as a number of musicians hired only for specific recordings or gigs.
Up until spring of 2010, the focus had been exclusively on studio recordings, but now it was time for the band to do a stage debut. The debut was made in "Grand"-style, with an appearance in the TV-show "Talang", Sweden's equivalent of "Britain's Got Talent", with over one million viewers.
Later that year, the band was joined by keyboardist Daniel Grönberg Svensson who also started contributing to the songwriting, and guitarist Thomas Klintberg.
In the summer of 2012, Grand Slam found the perfect lead singer and frontman for the band, Andy Sinner (ex-Trash Queen). With the addition of two female backing singers, Ivana Papak and Lina Vernblom, Grand Slam was now ready to go out and perform for a live audience.
They entered the worldwide contest Emergenza and made it to the regional finals.
The band continued to play live during the summer and autumn of 2013, gathering a strong fan-following.
There was still something missing, and the void was filled by the addition of another guitarist, Andreas Gullstrand. The backup vocalists, Ivana Papak and Lina Vernblom, decided to leave the band that same year.
In 2014, Grand Slam went into the studio to record a three-song EP, "Waiting For Tomorrow", which received considerable attention worldwide. The EP was recorded and produced by Erik Wiss in Peekroom Studios.
Guitarist Thomas Klintberg left the band shortly thereafter, and the remaining band members signed a contract with AOR Heaven to release Grand Slam's debut album, "A New Dawn".
Erik Wiss was once again brought in to record the album, which is best described as a well-balanced mix of the original and new Grand Slam sound.

„From The Vault” heißt eine aktuelle Serie mit Live-Konzerten aus den Archiven der Rolling Stones, die jetzt zum ersten Mal offiziell veröffentlicht werden. „Live In Leeds” stammt von ihrem Auftritt am 25. Juli 1982 im Roundhay Park im englischen Leeds. Die Show war das letzte Konzert der 1982er Europatournee zu ihrem hochgelobten Album „Tattoo You”. Anschließend gingen die Stones sieben Jahre lang nicht mehr auf Tour. Die Setliste umfasst etwa die Hälfte des Materials von „Tattoo You” inklusive des Singlehits „Start Me Up”, ergänzt mit Klassikern wie „Under My Thumb“, „Let’s Spend The Night Together”, „Honky Tonk Women”, „Jumpin’ Jack Flash”, „Angie”, „Tumbling Dice”, „(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” oder „Brown Sugar”. Es war gleichzeitig auch das letzte Konzert der Stones mit ihrem Pianisten Ian Stewart. Für die erste offizielle Veröffentlichung der Show wurde das Material nun sorgfältig restauriert und der Sound von Bob Clearmountain neu gemischt. „Live In Leeds 1982” wird parallel auch als DVD (EREDV1200), DVD+2CD-Set (EAGDV053) und DVD+3LP-Set (ERDVLP095) veröffentlicht.

On January 8, 2016 the 5th studio album by Cloudscape entitled ”Voice of Reason” will be released worldwide. The band describes the album to be another step forward but, also flirting with their early albums musically. The songs are a nice blend between straight forward, hard-hitting metal songs to more progressive and majestic tracks. ”Voice of Reason” was mixed and produced by Anders ”Theo” Theander at RoastingHouse Studios. The artwork was once again created by Mattias Norén (www.progart.com)
Cloudscape was formed in 2001 and they released their self-titled debut album in 2005. Over the years Cloudscape have played live at many well respected metal festivals all over Europe and built a great reputation of being an impressive live act. In early 2014 Cloudscape played a 3.5 weeks long European tour, visiting 17 cities which turned out to become a great, well-earned success for the Swedish group.
The songwriting for the 5th album entitled Voice Of Reason started in 2013. This time the band wanted to create songs that flirts a bit with their earlier albums but, at the same time entering new territories musically within the melodic metal genre. For the first time in the bands discography the band have a title track…Voice Of Reason. It’s a song in the more progressive vein with lots of dynamic, atmospheric moments mixed with crunchy and heavy parts…a song that resembles what Cloudscape have been and is about musically. Voice Of Reason was mixed and mastered at the RoastingHouse Studio One by producer & engineer Anders ”Theo” Theander. Voice Of Reason was released in Europe on January 8, 2016 via Swedish metal label Dead End Exit Records (a division of RoastingHouse Music).

My Dear Addiction is a Melodic Metalcore band from Älmhult, Sweden. With over a decade of experience and having played alongside bands such as Raubtier, Mustach, Scar Symmetry and Dead By April. MDA released their debut album "New Blood" back in 2010 and their fans have been dying to hear more ever since. The wait will soon be over, as the band recently announced the release of their upcoming album "Kill The Silence", to be released 8th January 2016.
Recorded, mixed and mastered in "Panic Room Studios" (Scar Symmetry,Borealis,Watain ) My Dear Addiction state that they didn´t hold anything back with this release, it's going to be everything the fans have wanted and more. For the album cover, My Dear Addiction contacted "Carl Blekkmark" and they worked together to make the artwork for "Kill The Silence". Every song has a strong message, both in lyrics and sound reflecting the hard work and struggle leading up to the release of the album.
The album is going to be released through their new record label, Dead End Exit Records and soon after the release, My Dear Addiction will head out on a European tour to promote the new album.
